It seems like every other day I’m writing yet another article for Kevin Greutert’s SAW VI. Kind of hard not to look forward to a movie after writing countless articles about the damn thing… But alas I’m still not completely sold on SAW VI. And I’m sure most of you aren’t either.
Today a new SAW VI featurette popped up over at MySpace where Tobin Bell chats about what we might expect from SAW VI with some new footage mixed in. Excited? Check that shite out below! Now it seems SAW VI is catching on and will make a nice chunk of change, as per usual. Even SAW haters out there will probably see this thing… I’m not going to go out of my way to check it out but I know I’ll be hitting the theater for this one. After all the positive praise for SAW VI, albeit from it’s filmmakers, how can anyone not be even a bit curious?
I don’t think it’s necessary to run through the cast and synopsis for this one by this point… but here you go anyway. Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw’s legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw’s grand scheme is finally understood. SAW VI stars Tobin Bell, Shawnee Smith, Costas Mandylor and Betsy Russell. It hits theaters everywhere October 23rd!
