Well SAW VI’s October 23rd release date is quickly approaching and we’ve been seeing all kinds of SAW media pop up the past few weeks. Can you believe we’re only a month away from yet another SAW installment? They come so quickly! Today I’m here to show you yet another new poster for the film. Yay.
Above you’ll find the newest SAW VI one sheet, courtesy of IGN. Now what exactly are we looking at here? It seems like another classic Jigsaw trap attached to some poor bastard’s head. Yet the nifty tagline states “He helped me.” Alright then, works for me! Just click through on the poster above for a larger shot. Anyone else giving in to the SAW VI hype… conveniently created within the SAW camp? Word has it SAW VI is much better than the last installments. I’m talking a better film all around. Now that’s not exactly hard to do… but really? A decent SAW flick? Hard to believe… but I’m not going to lie… I’m holding out a bit of hope.
The sixth installment comes from director Kevin Greutert and stars Tobin Bell, Costas Mandylor, Shawnee Smith, Betsy Russell and Karen Cliche (below). Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw’s legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw’s grand scheme is finally understood.
