Darren Lynn Bousman’s MOTHER’S DAY cast just keeps on growing. The other day it was his buddy J. LaRose (SAW III) joining the production (which just began shooting a few days ago), and now it’s Andrew Bryniarski, a.k.a. Leatherface from the last two TEXAS CHAINSAW films.
What’s interesting is that Bryniarski’s role is undisclosed at the moment; all we know is that it’s – to quote the press release – “dark and mysterious”. Could he be playing one of the murderous mamma’s boys? Maybe he’s playing Leatherface, who just happens upon the nasty doings and saves the day? Nobody knows…
Bryniarski joins a cast that includes Rebecca De Mornay, Deborah Ann Woll, Jamie King, Shawn Ashmore, Briana Evigan, Matt O’Leary, A.J. Cook and Alexa Vega. MOTHER’S DAY will open sometime next year.
