HALLOWEEN 2 hits theaters in just over a week on August 28th. So does THE FINAL DESTINATION. It feels like we’re in a marathon and we’re on the final lap! The race feels close but in actuallity THE FINAL DESTINATION never had a chance. Regardless both films are going to be pumping out the media in the coming week and I’m here to just fuel the fire! Yesterday we told you about a new TV spot for HALLOWEEN 2 and today we have a new still!
Unlike most of the HALLOWEEN 2 stills we’ve been getting as of late… this one is very intriguing! It might even be a bit of a spoiler… or a lot of a spoiler depending on your interpretation… so read and scroll with caution!! Below, courtesy of IGN, you’ll find the familiar clown costume of one Michael Myers. You know the costume I’m talking about… that cheap dollar store one Michael scores his first kill in. Well there’s something kind of different about this one…. actually very different… it’s not Michael! Who is it then? Well previous reports and obvious speculation tell us that none other than Scout Taylor-Compton’s Laurie Strode is the one behind the mask this time. Oh ok… wait… Say what?!
Exactly. That’s all we’ve got. A tease of a still showing Laurie all clowned up ready to slice and dice. Actually it looks like a re-enactment of William Forsythe’s death scene in HALLOWEEN.
