It wasn’t too long ago that WORLD WAR Z scored a new writer in the form of Matthew Michael Carnahan. Well it seems things aren’t quite set yet with WORLD WAR Z.
The guys over at Bloody-Disgusting are spreading word that Paramount Pictures were on hand at Comic Con this week and that they’re looking for a new director to tackle WORLD WAR Z! What’s that mean? Well it means that QUANTUM OF SOLACE’s Marc Forster is out! But why? BD doesn’t offer much more info… actually there’s no info at all. No reasons, names or anything. They’re just passing along word that Forster is out. Interesting.
Obviously until actual confirmation hits you can take this with a grain of salt but I can definitely see it being true, especially with Carnahan recently coming on board to draft a new script. It’s a shame this adaptation keeps hitting road blocks because it seems like WORLD WAR Z would make an amazing movie.
