Back at the beginning of the month we told you how RESIDENT EVIL 4 already had a release date pegged in the form of September 17, 2010. This was interesting news considering it practically came out of nowhere… but it seems to have started a domino effect in production because the film now has a start date!
Production Weekly dropped the word that the awesomely titled RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE will start 8-weeks of filming on September 28th in Toronto at Cinespace Film Studios. That’s a little over two months away and… the flick doesn’t even have a director yet! At least not one that’s officially been announced. RESIDENT EVIL regular Paul W.S. Anderson penned the script for AFTERLIFE, as well as all the other RESIDENT EVIL movies and Milla Jovovich (pictured) is set to return as Alice. Regardless of the already announced dates this is the only crew that’s been confirmed for AFTERLIFE.
I think it’s safe to say we’ll be hit with a lot of RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE updates in the next couple of months so be ready for that!
