Well here’s a concept I’m all for checking out! A couple of stoners going on the hunt for aliens and ghosts. How can this be anything but awesome? You’re probably asking what the hell I’m talking about. Now you’re probably asking yourself where you can find this bad boy!
Well the event in question is called GHOST/ALIENS and is based on the novel by Trey Hamburger. Here’s the full synopsis: Trey Hamburger and his loyal best friend, Mike Stevens, two potheads who set out on a quest to expose the truth about the existence of ghosts and aliens. The Hollywood Reporter already have a list of names signed on to star. Jonathan Sadowski will be playing Hamburger while Keir O’Donnell has signed on to play Stevens. Rebecca Wisocky also joins the cast as Hamburger’s ‘volatile single mom Deb Hamburger’ with Kaylee DeFer playing ‘a member of Trey’s quartet of alien hunters and his possible love interest.’
Here’s the kicker… GHOST/ALIENS is being planned for both a big screen and little screen adaptation! Paramount Vantage are looking to bring the novel to the big screen with Comedy Central giving the pilot a chance. This all sounds good to me! What do you think?
