To be honest I’m shocked this news as evaded us for so long. You see Wild Eye Releasing are planning on having over 100 artists from all over the globe participate in this video art gallery. Each artist used George A. Romero’s zombie classic NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD as their source. Every artist has ‘reanimated’ scenes from the genre classic using CGI to puppetry and oil paintings to tattoos and more. This is an opportunity to see a legendary film in so many ways we never even thought of! This project has been titled NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD REANIMATED.
Wild Eye are planning on setting this bad boy loose on DVD this Winter and to celebrate curator and organizer Mike Schneider designed the poster above. It’s got examples of some of the variations of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD we’ll be seeing. I’m willing to bet you’re just as stoked for this as I am now, aren’t you? That’s what I thought.
