I’m a HUGE fan of 2007’s BEHIND THE MASK: THE RISE OF LESLIE VERNON. If you’re a fan of the slasher genre then you probably are too. How can you not love BEHIND THE MASK? The flick was insanely original for the crop of horror flicks we’ve seen coming our way.
There’s been questions about a BEHIND THE MASK sequel for two years now and finally it seems there’s some news on the matter! The guys over at Icons of Fright recently got a chance to chat with BEHIND THE MASK writer David Stieve and he hinted at some interesting news:
“….concrete interest in making a sequel to BEHIND THE MASK soon…. it’s legitimate enough to get (director) Scott (Glosserman) and I working on the story and plotting it out.”
He also hints that star Nathan Baesel should also be returning! That’s some awesome news! Imagine what we could be in store for? The same group of guys that brought us BEHIND THE MASK are in line to bring us some more Leslie Vernon adventures! The possibilities are limitless of what Leslie could do with a sequel. Watching Leslie breakdown the makings of a sequel while perfecting his own… awesome! Right now nothing is official but hopefully we’ll hear some solid news soon!
