Hard to believe it’s been a while since we’ve had some TWILIGHT SAGA news. Guess Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN 2 took up most of the updates… but not anymore! Today we’ve got what seems like a pretty big NEW MOON update. Supposedly there’s a group of werewolves in NEW MOON known as the ‘Wolf Pack.’ And today we’ve got word on who’ll make up this Wolf Pack!
Now ‘The Pack’ consists of six members, one of which is Jacob Black, which we were introduced to in the first film. Black is played by Taylor Lautner of course. So who will be joining Lautner in his howling duties? Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Tyson Houseman. Alright then. Contrary to earlier claims that several names were being considered for members of the NEW MOON werewolf community, Weitz had made it clear he was going for actors that are of actual American Indian decent, and he’s got that with the names above. The Native American tribes represented are the Sioux, Purepecha, Hualapai, Cree-Metis, and Cree.
The Wolf Pack are part of the Native American tribe that are apparently a big part of NEW MOON. They eventually team up with the humans against the baddie vamps. Alright then… Does that mean we’re in store for some awesome werewolf versus vampire action? We can hope.
