It’s been a year since our last update on Dror Soref’s NOT FORGOTTEN. A year! That’s a good amount of time for a movie to be in production. Well if you’ve been waiting patiently for NOT FORGOTTEN, then today has some great news for you!
The Hollywood Reporter dropped word that Anchor Bay just scored rights to NOT FORGOTTEN, planning a limited theatrical release in the coming months. Apparently they’ll be making a big homevideo push as well for NOT FORGOTTEN. Well there you go! Finally some distribution news for NOT FORGOTTEN. We can finally sleep at night.
In all seriousness, NOT FORGOTTEN doesn’t seem half bad. The flick screened at the 2009 Slamdance Film Festival and stars Simon Baker (above) and Paz Vega (below). Now Baker is all good in my book and Vega is smoking hot, so the cast seems spot on! NOT FORGOTTEN follows a man haunted by the disappearance of his daughter from his first marriage. They approach a Latina soothsayer to find out what happened to the girl, but the old woman’s visions threaten to dredge up secrets from their tortured pasts. A religious thriller, nice.
