Less than 24 hours ago we gave you a look at the new FRIDAY THE 13TH poster. Now that’s one badass poster if I do say so myself. Stone me if you must, but I’m definitely digging it. I can see that hanging on my wall. I especially love the tagline. Feels like they’re going back to the basics. Anyway my story today isn’t about the poster… oh no.
It’s about the awesome trailer for the flick that just popped up over in our videos section.
Now like the poster, I’m loving the trailer! The only gripe I have is the old lady. Why couldn’t they throw a Crazy Ralph clone in there? I would’ve been down for that. Everything else about the trailer rocks in my eyes. It looks like we’ll be getting some vicious violence and suspense throughout the movie. I’m stoked to see Platinum Dunes went forward with their idea to borrow the countdown idea from the original’s trailer. We even get a glimpse of the infamous sack among other things.

FRIDAY THE 13TH has been on my eagerly awaiting list since the second it was announced, no lie. Now, after seeing all this stuff these past couple months, I’m even more excited! And we’ve got a couple months to wait still.
Now I’m the first to hate on all the horror remakes popping up left and right, but my opinion is that FRIDAY THE 13TH is ripe to be remade. I never really liked the original to begin with and I think Jason rocks. Get ready to revist Crystal Lake this February, on Friday the 13th.
