So UNDERWORLD: RISE OF THE LYCANS is gearing up for release in just a few short months, and finally we’ve got a look at a quality trailer thanks to Apple! We’ve thrown it up in our videos section for you all to see, or you can just click through below.
While I think the first UNDERWORLD is worth watching, I’ve never gotten into this franchise and I’m not about to start now. It’s just not my cup of tea. Whether there’s too much going on or just the whole time piece isn’t catching my interest, UNDERWORLD: RISE OF THE LYCANS just isn’t on my radar. Maybe it’s different for you though, so be sure to check out the trailer and decide for yourself.
RISE OF THE LYCANS is an origins story centered on the centuries-old feud between the the race of aristocratic vampires known as Death Dealers, and their onetime slaves, the Lycans. It loses the gorgeous Kate Beckinsale for Rhona Mitra (below), who isn’t too bad either! It also stars Michael Sheen, Bill Nighy, Shane Brolly, and Steven Mackintosh. LYCANS is directed by Patrick Tatopoulos with Danny McBride and Dirk Blackman penning the script. It’s set to hit theaters everywhere on January 23 of next year.
