It seems like every other week we’re talking about a movie adaptation from Chuck Palahniuk’s novels. And you know what… that’s fine with me! I’m a big fan of Mr. Palahniuk’s and I think he’s got a pretty brilliant mind. So I’m always game for seeing his work come to the screen. And today we’re talking about HAUNTED.
The Hollywood Reporter are dropping the word today that New School Media have just scored the rights to Chuck Palahniuk’s HAUNTED. The book is about some writers imprisoned at a retreat and forced to write about their dire predicament. From that and the picture of the book above, I’ve got a feeling we’re in for something twisted.
Then again it’s coming from Chuck Palahniuk, so I’m sure we’ve got something to make us ask what the hell is going on here. They even have a director all lined up already. That man would be the Belgian director Koen Mortier. He’ll also be penning the adaptation.
So there you have it. That’s all we have for you so far, but we’ll be keeping an eye on this one so keep it here for updates.
