So I was cruising along the internets and I came across this Canada horror/comedy that I felt you should all know about. It’s called BOLLYWOOD ZOMBIE.
Yes, another zombie movie, but hear me out. The guys over at 24framespersecond.net are the ones who pointed this one out. Here’s the synopsis for you: What seems a match made in heaven goes terribly awry when a wicked Aunt tries to sabotage her niece’s wedding day. Adding a secret potion to the buffet, she inadvertently turns the bride and her guests into Zombies. Now the bride’s sister, the groom, his best man and the shady Chef have to figure out a way to save the bride before she becomes a permanent member of the living dead.
You see why I’m thinking positive for this one? I’m a big fan of character flicks, so a character horror/comedy with zombies? I’m definately down. BOLLYWOOD ZOMBIE comes from Cinesavvy (via Access Motion Pictures) out of Toronto. It’s directed by Maninder Chana and is currently filming, looking at a release sometime next year. No word yet if/when this’ll be hitting the US. We’ll definately be keeping an eye on BOLLYWOOD ZOMBIE and will drop any updates your way once we hear them.
