Splinter stills

A couple weeks ago we got a look at the trailer for Toby Wilkins’ SPLINTER. Today we got an email from Magnolia Pictures pointing us in the direction towards a mess of new stills for SPLINTER as well as a new promo video.

The promo video is over in our videos section so you can check that out by clicking through on the first video below. I’ve also thrown up the trailer again below that in case you missed it the first time. The new stills for the flick can be seen above and below, head right over here for bigger shots.

Here’s SPLINTER’s synopsis: Trapped in an isolated gas station by a veracious Splinter parasite that transforms its still living victims into deadly hosts, a young couple and an escaped convict must find a way to work together to survive this primal terror. It stars Shea Whigham, Paulo Costanzo, Jill Wagner, Charles Baker, Rachel Kerbs, and Laurel Whitsett. You may recognize Mr. Costanzo as the resident ‘buddy stoner’ in a lot of teen comedies. While he seems to be one of the leads in this one, I’ll put $20 down that he partakes in marijuana festivities in SPLINTER. It’s just his way, nothing wrong with that! Toby Wilkins is directing, he also penned the script with Kai Barry and Ian Shorr.

SPLINTER is looking like it actually might be pretty cool, so be on the lookout for any more updates.
