Well shockingly it’s been a while since we last heard any news on Quentin Tarantino’s INGLORIOUS BASTARDS. By ‘a while’ I mean 10 days, but at the rate casting news for BASTARDS was turning out, 10 days is like months.

Well we’ve finally got some more news today for you all via Variety. Now the last updates saw Simon Pegg leaving and Michael Fassbender joining. Today’s update has three new names joining the cast and one potentially leaving. Diane Kruger, Christoph Waltz (above), and Paul Rust have all signed onto the flick.

Waltz will be playing the main villain in the flick, Nazi colonel Hans Landa while Kruger will play the German actress Bridget Von Hammersmark. Now it was previously reported that Nastassja Kinski was in line to play the German actress… no telling if this means Kinski is off the project or if she’ll be taking on another role. There’s still a leading female role up in the air, so who knows.

Now you all may recognize the gorgeous Kruger (below) from the NATIONAL TREASURE movies, personally I’ve been a big fan of hers since WICKER PARK. So Kruger signing onto BASTARDS is all good with me! The rest of the cast includes Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, Mike Myers, Samm Levine, and BJ Novak. Production begins October 13 in Germany.
