In Hollywood, When somethings hasn’t been talked about in at least 2 years, it’s either dead or FREDDY VS JASON. Well I suppose the gorgeous Sarah Michelle Gellar (below) can be added to that list. Well at least her alter ego can.
Way back in November 2006 we told you all about this ‘Tooned Up’ Buffy. We haven’t heard anything since… until now!
MTV got word that BUFFY THE ANIMATED SERIES is stirring things up once again! Read the whole story right over here. Basically it talks about how a few years ago BUFFY creators Joss Whedon and Jeph Loeb pitched the idea for a simple, family friendly BUFFY cartoon… and nobody bit. Now, as if out of thin air, things have began turning again for the cartoon.
MTV points out the recently ‘released’ trailer promo for the cartoon you can see in our videos section. Just click below to check it out. They also mention an online petition to get the show going again. Plus the world is of remakes and ‘re-imaginings’ now, so why not?
The show apparently will be in the same style as the TV show and will apparently have some awesome animation. Would it work in today’s cartoon world? Who knows. Hardcore fans will be down I’m sure. Mind you there’s nothing official yet, but we’ll update you whenever news breaks.
