Stone me if you must… but I’m actually looking forward to the sci-fi action flick BABYLON A.D.. Vin Diesel showed us all he could absolutely own a movie with PITCH BLACK, so I’ve got faith in the man.
Brilliant killing machine or ruthless mercenary… either works for me! Finally Diesel is doing what he does best, let’s just hope he hasn’t lost it. Here’s the movie’s synopsis: Veteran-turned-mercenary Thoorop takes the high-risk job of escorting a woman from Russia to China. Little does he know that she is host to an organism that a cult wants to harvest in order to produce a genetically modified Messiah
Sounds good! Well those willy studs over at JoBlo.com scored an exclusive still for the flick! You can scope that out above, just click for a bigger shot of it. It shows Vinny boy guarding a couple chicks (duh) about to kill somebody (duh.). Basically it’s Vin Diesel being Vin Diesel.
BABYLON A.D. also stars Mélanie Thierry (below), Michelle Yeoh, Lambert Wilson, Mark Strong. It’s directed by Mathieu Kassovitz with Eric Besnard penning the script based on the novel by Maurice G. Dantec. It’s set to hit theaters next Friday on August 29.
