I didn’t even realize DEATH RACE was just a couple weeks away, hitting theaters on August 22. So I’m going to go ahead and assume that the media for this one will start pumping out within the next two weeks. The internet media has already started, an example being the 6 clips we recently showed you all.

DEATH RACE follows ex-con Jensen Ames, who’s forced by the warden of a notorious prison to compete in our post-industrial world’s most popular sport: a car race in which inmates must brutalize and kill one another on the road to victory. Basically if you like Jason Statham (which you do), insane car action (which you probably do), and Natalie Martinez (below) (which you absolutely do), then it looks like your in for a ride!
DEATH RACE comes from Paul W.S. Anderson, who both wrote and directed the film. Along with Statham and Martinez it stars Joan Allen, Ian McShane, Tyrese Gibson, and Max Ryan. As I said, it opens in just a couple weeks on August 22.
