I like Alexandre Aja’s films, I think they’re some pretty awesome horror movies that get the job done. They’re enjoyable. After watching the red band trailer for his newest flick, MIRRORS… my first impression was: What the f*ck?!

This movie looks tweeked! And I can’t wait to see it! MIRRORS looks like it’s got the tools to really have me never wanting to look in a mirror again!

Check out this red band trailer for yourself over in our videos section. We have disfugred faces, burnt living corpses, slit throats, and chicks tearing their own jaws off… all when you look in the mirror. That’s some messed up sh*t right there.

The extremely simple synopsis reads: An ex-cop and his family are the target of a evil force that is using mirrors as a gateway into their home. As vague as that is… it gets the job done. We don’t need much more than that.

Just click below to check out the red band trailer for MIRRORS. This looks like it may be something great. As I mentioned, it comes from Alexandre Aja, who’s directing and penned the script with Grégory Levasseur. It stars the great Kiefer Sutherland along with Paula Patton, Cameron Boyce, Erica Gluck, and Amy Smart (below).

It hits theaters everywhere next month on August 15.
