Be a Zombie

George A. Romero’s return to his famed franchise, DIARY OF THE DEAD, has been met with a slew of mixed reactions. The Arrow felt it was a mixed bag while I thought it was actually pretty damn good, aside from the mediocre performances. And by mediocre I mean bad. I think Romero gave us a fresh, interesting look at the zombie movie.. even if the ‘first person camera’ deal has been a bit overdone.

Well the DVD hit shelves a couple weeks ago here in the US, but the guys over in England have to wait until June 30. And to celebrate this release, the official UK site for DIARY OF THE DEAD have a pretty sweet little feature going on.

Here’s the just of it: Upload a picture of yourself or a friend and transform said picture into a portrait of the living dead!

Intrigued? Head on over here to try that out. What genre fan hasn’t wondered what they’d look like as a member of the undead? Exactly.

…. works for me.
