Last month I showed you all the first poster for the animated flick IGOR. (right) Well seeing how this one is only a summer away from hitting theaters, we’ve got a trailer courtesy of Yahoo! Movies today!
You can head on over here to check that out. Obviously this one will be appealing to the younger audience, but I think we were all hoping for a bit of horror in there somewhere, right? Now from the trailer, it doesn’t seem like it’s the genre entry we were hoping for.
While it’s undoubtedly got the ‘FRANKENSTEIN’ thing going on, it doesn’t seem as dark as something like NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, or even MONSTER HOUSE… but who knows? These days, some flicks don’t give much with the trailer.
The simple synopsis for IGOR reads: a mad scientist’s hunchbacked lab assistant who has big dreams of winning the Evil Science Fair. Anthony Leondis will be directing from a script by Chris McKenna. The flick has an all star cast of voices lined up including: Eddie Izzard, Jay Leno, Jennifer Coolidge (below), Molly Shannon, Steve Buscemi, John Cleese, Sean Hayes, and John Cusack as Igor.
IGOR is set to hit theaters September 19.
I’m sure there’s a fan club out there for Jennifer Coolidge’s boobs… somewhere.
