We last told you about THE UNINVITED a month ago, when Ammon told us all about the title change. In case you missed the announcement, THE UNINVITED was first under the title A TALE OF TWO SISTERS, considering it’s a remake of the Korean film. So as Ammon pointed out, the only logical thing to do is change the title to something short and uneventful!
That’s almost as bad as UNBORN. Almost. Well word got out today on the release date for THE UNINVITED. It’ll be landing on January 30, 2009. Looks like early 09 is shaping up to be jam-packed with horror flicks.
The synopsis for THE UNINVITED reads: Anna Rydell returns home to her sister (and best friend) Alex after a stint in a mental hospital, though her recovery is jeopardized thanks to her cruel stepmother, aloof father, and the presence of a ghost in their home.
It comes from writers Craig Rosenberg, Doug Miro, and Carlo Bernard with Charles and Thomas Guard directing. The cast includes Elizabeth Banks, Arielle Kebbel (below), David Strathairn, and Emily Browning.
