I’m a sucker for dark comedies. For example, I find DEATH TO SMOOCHY to be a pretty awesome flick. So when The Hollywood Reporter dropped some news on the new dark comedy POSSESSIONS, I couldn’t help but get intrigued.

Mind you, I’m not talking about the Sarah Michelle Gellar driven POSSESSION, throw an S on the end though and I’m talking about POSSESSIONS.

Here’s the basic premise: A suicidal man with cancer is haunted by the voice of a Frenchman, who seems to be taking over his body. These split personalities soon end up in a quadrangle with two females.

Sounds fun to me. Trent Ford will be playing our suicidal hero while Autumn Reeser (below) and Jamie Murray (above) play the two female leads. This will be Nathan Adolfson’s first flick, who’s writing and directing.

POSSESSIONS is coming from 5858 Films with filming starting yesterday in Los Angeles.
