We last told you about TRIANGLE in November. It was released that Christopher Smith will be helming TRIANGLE as his next project. Smith’s last film was SEVERANCE, which is supposed to be pretty damn good.
A thriller about the Bermuda Triangle is always welcome in my book, and with Smith behind it, it seems like we’re in for something good.
Couple that with the news coming from The Hollywood Reporter that Melissa George (pictured) is in final negotiations to star and we have something great. I’m sure everyone knows who Melissa George is, and if you don’t, she last starred in 30 DAYS OF NIGHT.
TRIANGLE is about the passengers of a yachting trip in the Atlantic Ocean who, when struck by mysterious weather conditions, jump to another ship only to experience greater havoc on the open seas. George will play a woman with a mental disorder who relives the harrowing experience through each of her three personalities.
I’m a sucker for split personalities, so this sounds great. Icon Entertainment will be distributing this one with Jason Newmark and Chris Brown producing.
Production is set to start in George’s native Austraiia this April.
The always gorgeous Melissa George
