Well folks, after months and months of waiting, George A. Romero’s DIARY OF THE DEAD is less than a week away from a limited release.
Yesterday IGN dropped a clip for THE SIGNAL, and today they’re showing us all a clip from DIARY OF THE DEAD.
Interestingly enough, the clip is titled ‘Arrow.’ You can check that out over here. The clip is pretty cool, and features that beauty to the right. If the feel of the flick is anything like the clip, I’m definately down. Who am I kidding, I’ve been down for a while.
Some news involving DIARY OF THE DEAD recently sprung up over at The Hollywood Reporter as well. Apparently The Weinstein Company have debuted a new label called Third Rail Releasing.
The label will deal with “inventive and edgy vanguard films.” So basically we’re talking about indies. DIARY OF THE DEAD is slated to be the first film released by Third Rail. To read up on that some more, head over to The Hollywood Reporter.
DIARY OF THE DEAD is about a group of young film students that run into real-life zombies while filming a horror movie of their own. It’s written and directed by genre legend George A. Romero and stars Amy Ciupak Lalonde, Laure DeCarteret, Nick Alachiotis, Joshua Close, Joe Dinicol, Tatiana Maslany, Megan Park (below), Shawn Roberts, and Michelle Morgan.
