JENNIFER’S BODY is shaping up to be quite the flick. First and foremost, the brilliant mind behind the script belongs to former stripper Diablo Cody. That’s just awesome. A former stripper who now has a knack for pumping out great scripts. Can’t get better than that. Anyway… Diablo is best known for a script she wrote called JUNO. You might’ve heard of it?
Well she’s pulling a 180 and going from a teen comedy to a genre/comedy flick. That’s some range. Here’s hoping Diablo can nail this one like she did JUNO. JENNIFER’S BODY recently scored a director in Karen Kusama. Plus it’s being produced by JUNO director Jason Reitman, Dan Dubiecki, and Mason Novick. Fox Atomic will be behind the release.
I haven’t even gotten to the good stuff yet. The synopsis reads: a seemingly-perfect cheerleader’s life is thrown into disarray when she gets possessed by a demon and begins eating boys in her small Minnesota farming town. Her bookish best friend Needy must take drastic measures to protect their town from the seductive teenager and her appetite for high school guys.
That cheerleader will be played by the unbelievably gorgeous Megan Fox (below). Today news is coming in via The Hollywood Reporter on who will be playing the role of Needy: Amanda Seyfried (above). All good in my mind.
Shooting for JENNIFER’S BODY is set to being this March in Vancouver.
Is it possible for Megan Fox to be too hot….? .. Nah. Well maybe a little.
