How would you like to step into the shoes of one of the genre’s biggest badasses? The man behind the hatchet of Victor Crowley and the mask of Jason Voorhees. How would you like to be Kane Hodder?!
Well… sort of.
You see, Fangoria dropped some info on a video game coming out. A game Mr. Hodder is currently working on. Hodder had the following to tell Fangoria:
“I’m currently involved in doing a video game. I’m performing the motion capture for a character who is…I guess you could say he’s a slasher. The game will be developed over the next year and half, and I’m involved in creating the story and the character, and doing his movements. The player plays as the killer, so it will be controversial, but it’s going to be an unbelievably intricate and intelligently done game.”
That’s got me all kinds of tickled pink. A video game where you play a slasher? That’s better than porn… almost. Well not really.
Hodder also stated how the company behind it is a big name in the video game industry and that the game isn’t connected to any film. Sounds all kinds of awesome to me. You can head on over to Fangoria to check it out.
