We’ve been following FRONTIER(S) for a while now. From getting picked up by After Dark Films to being pulled from After Dark Horrorfest to it’s rating problems.
Well there’s not much good FRONTIER(S) news for us here in the US, with no release date set yet, but what we do have, via BD, is the newest UK trailer for the flick. You can check that out over here.
The trailer isn’t much different from the one below (shown at the After Dark Horrorfest). The main difference being the UK one has a good deal of dialogue in it.
Now FRONTIER(S) is following the whole ‘torture porn’ genre to a T… but it seems like it’s got it’s own unique spin on it. Maybe it’s the villan on villan action, or the fact that the ones doing the torturing seem like some really sick f*cks. Either way I’ll be checking out FRONTIER(S) and hoping it’s just not a carbon copy of HOSTEL.
FRONTIER(S) is about a gang of young thieves who flee Paris during the violent aftermath of a political election, only to hole up at an Inn run by neo-Nazis. All kinds of bloody violent fun ensues. It’s written and directed by Xavier Gens. Gens’ latest was HITMAN. Xavier Gens is a director I’m really hoping to see a lot from.
