The last we heard of WAZ, Ammon was showing you the awesome poster to the right.
There’s finally a trailer making the rounds for the flick. Now the trailer’s been around the web for over a month, so how it was lost on our radar is beyond me. But we’ve finally got it and you can check that out below.
The Arrow had fun with WAZ and it seems he hit the nail on the head when he said it follows along the lines of SE7EN/SAW. From the trailer, it looks pretty unoriginal. But it looks like it wants to try and mess with our heads ala THE NUMBER 23. And I’m always down for a flick that thinks it can get my head even more twisted then it already is.
WAZ was written by Clive Bradley, directed by Tom Shankland, and stars Stellan Skarsgård, Melissa George (below), Selma Blair, Ashley Walters, and John Sharian. The small synopsis reads: A calculating killer coerces a detective to pay for his previous mistakes.
Melissa George AND Selma Blair? Oh I’m definately sold now. No word yet on a US release, but we’ll keep you updated. In the meantime, scope out the trailer below.
