I came across this flick today and I couldn’t help but share it with all of you.
The movie is called EASTER BUNNY, KILL! KILL! If that alone doesn’t get you excited, I don’t think much will. Seriously… Easter Bunny.. and Kill in the same movie title? How does that not work?
Apparently the film has been ready for over a year, it was justing having some major trouble finding someone to pick them up because of the content. Lucky for us they’ve finally got a release date.
The official MySpace for the flick is reporting that they’ve finally found some distribution in the form of Phoenix Entertainment! The flick will be hitting DVD this March. You can preoder it over at Amazon.
According to the official website, the synopsis reads: A violent criminal named Remington fools a mother into trusting him. When she leaves him alone with her young son, Nicholas, Remington and his friends take sick pleasure in abusing the boy, who seeks comfort in his pet rabbit. One night, however, the abusers can’t find Nicholas… but an Easter Bunny-masked killer has found them and wants bloody revenge on the boy’s tormentors!
That’s just brilliant. I’ll definately be checking this one out. If the trailer is any indication, this one is pretty bloody too, with some clever kills. You can check out the trailer below.
EASTER BUNNY, KILL! KILL! is written and directed by Chad Ferrin. It stars Tim Muskatell, Charlotte Marie, Ricardo Gray, Trent Haaga, and David Z. Stamp. So mark it on your calenders, March 2008.
