More Rambo?

RAMBO is a little over two weeks away and it seems like everyone is stoked for more Stallone-kicking-major-ass action. I haven’t seen a negative thing towards RAMBO anywhere on the web.

I don’t see how any part of RAMBO could be bad. The trailers have gotten us just as excited as the newest porno and Stallone looks like he hasn’t lost a step in the badass category. So this could only mean RAMBO will score some big bucks at the box office. Think about it, what was the last all out badass action flick that can compete with RAMBO? Mind drawing a blank right?

Well it’s no secret that Stallone has expressed his interest in continuing the franchise, and recently AICN caught up with Sly to answer some fan’s questions, to check that out you can head over here, he gets into RAMBO a lot. One of the questions was along the lines of: “…when can we expect a new installment, and what would the storyline be about?” Sly’s answer?

“I truly can’t tell you yet because I think it would be bad luck, but I think a challenge would be to take the character which has been perceived mostly in a realistic vein and add another element of the surreal that would actually take the audience into a slightly different genre. It’s not like I’m going to turn it into a full on Broadway musical starring the Muppets, but it is ambitious.”

Are you as disappointed as I am? Doesn’t the idea of Rambo kicking all kinds of Muppet ass excite you? I’m kidding. I’m kind of torn on that. Rambo in a war scenerio is just how it goes. It works so well, why change it? Then again if Stallone has a great idea for taking Rambo into a new element, I’ll go along with it.

So I guess if RAMBO explodes at the box offfice like it does in the trailers, we might have another installment to look forward to. So join me January 25 and hit your local theaters to check this bad boy out.

RAMBO star Julie Benz.
