Oh the French and their horror movies. How come their so good at it? I mean, I loved HIGH TENSION, as did The Arrow. And if The Arrow’s review is any indication, INSIDE is going to turn the genre inside out (no pun intended).
Well there’s some buzz going around for Franck Vestiel’s EDEN LOG. The film is about a man who wakes up in total darkness at the bottom of a deep cave, unaware of how he got there. All he knows is that he is being pursued by a frightening creature, and needs to climb back to the surface through a cemetery like maze abandoned by a mysterious corporation called “Eden Log.”
This past summer Eric told you about the teaser trailer. And just last month I dropped the news that Magent had picked this one up. Well Twitch got their hands on the full trailer for EDEN LOG. Check that out over here.
Granted, it seems like it ties in to a lot of other film and video game plots, and although I didn’t understand a word, it looks like it’s going to definately be a flick to check out. EDEN LOG hits French theaters December 26 and is looking at a 2008 release here in the States via Magnet. Check out the official website over here.
