A few weeks ago I told you all about the trailer for the Jessica Alba film AWAKE. And less than 24 hours ago, Ammon dropped the poster for you all to check out. And now I’m bringing you the news that IESB.net scored a couple sweet clips for the film.
The first clip, titled “Awake,” is pretty intense. It nearly had me on the edge of my seat and it’s only about 30 seconds long. The clip features Hayden Christensen panicking under the scalpel as he tries desperately to awake before he’s cut open. You can check that out over here.
The second clip is “The Facts.” It has Terrence Howard giving Christensen a very serious talk. Looks like these two guys are going to give a couple decent performances, especially Christensen. You can see that one over here.
The synopsis for AWAKE is: A successful young man is put to sleep for a heart surgery and suffers ‘anesthetic awareness,’ meaning he is actually awake and aware of everything going on, but is paralyzed. He must try and find a way to awake and save his life with the help of his wife while she battles her own demons. Like I mentioned before, sounds a bit like Stephen King’s short story AUTOPSY ROOM 4. It’s written and directed by Joby Harold. It stars Hayden Christensen, Lena Olin, Jessica Alba (below), and Terrence Howard.
