No story is being untouched now the WGA is on strike, and that means anything and everything that has ever been pitched will probably get made. This time, it’s Edgar Allen Poes THE TELL-TALE HEART.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, TELL TALE is being produced by Ridley and Tony Scott’s Scott Free Productions and will be directed by Michael Cuesta. Signed on to star, as an unlikely choice, is Josh Lucas (POSEIDON).

Inspired by the classic Edgar Allan Poe story “The Tell-Tale Heart,” the contemporized adaptation sees Lucas starring as a single father whose recently transplanted heart leads him on a frantic search to find the donor’s killer before a similar fate befalls him.

There is no word on when this film will starting lensing, but if you’d like to read the entire article, go here.

Honestly, I just hate seeing good things get ruined…I mean not saying this film will ruin it for me…but it probably will.
