Do you like MASTERS OF HORROR? Hell yeah you do! Well I have some great news for you… NBC has picked up FEAR ITSELF, which is basically a carbon copy of MASTERS.

Firstly, it’s from the same producers (Industry Entertainment). MASTERS OF HORROR featured such names as John Carpenter (pictured), Dario Argento, John Landis, and Joe Dante. Unlike MASTERS though, FEAR ITSELF will also be produced by Lionsgate. Will this make a difference? I think it will. Ever since SAW, Lionsgate has been a heavy hitter in the genre with both independant stuff and mainstream. Exactly like MASTERS, FEAR ITSELF will feature hour long mini-movies made by horror icons.

NBC will air 13 episodes in the summer of 2008. Production is going to start in early 2008. So you think FEAR ITSELF will branch off and be something unique? Or just a MASTERS wannabe?
