After years of waiting, Disney Plus’s highly anticipated Obi-Wan Kenobi limited series is finally getting ready to premiere, with two episodes set to hit the streamer on May 27th. With just over a month to go, Total Film has unveiled two new and exclusive covers focusing on Obi-Wan Kenobi’s lightsaber. Check them out below!

We also got confirmation from Disney that the musical score for the series will be done by Natalie Holt, who also composed the memorable soundtrack for Marvel’s Loki. But, it turns out that legacy composer John Williams, while not returning for the series, won’t be sitting it out entirely. Vanity Fair reports that the maestro has indeed composed a main theme for the show, which is pretty cool news!

The series, set a decade after Revenge of the Sith, follows Obi-Wan as he struggles with the rise of his former padawan, Anakin Skywalker, who’s become the most feared tyrant in the galaxy, Darth Vader. Along with Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen also returns, although presumably he’ll remain mostly masked throughout, as the final duel in Revenge of the Sith left him looking a tad…crispy. No word yet on whether or not James Earl Jones will be returning to voice Darth Vader, although it would be tough to imagine anyone else, and Jones, despite getting on in years, still lent his voice to the recent Lion King remake and acted in Coming 2 America.

Obi-Wan Kenobi premieres on May 27th on Disney Plus. In addition to McGregor and Christensen, the six-episode series also stars Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton (as Uncle Owen), Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.
