Pop open a Puppers Golden Lager, gather your most scathing hockey chirps, and prepare to protect the sanctity of Canada gooses because Letterkenny is heading toward its grand finale! The twelfth and final season of the Ontario-based comedy series is making hay on Hulu and Crave, with all six episodes ready to scrap at once.

Letterkenny Season 12 debuts on Crave on December 25, with the Hulu premiere on December 26.

The official description for the final season of the uproarious comedy series states, “In Season 12, the small town contends with a comedy night at Modean’s, a country music hit, the Degens’ bad influence, a new nightclub, and an encore at the Ag Hall. And that’s just for starters.”

Jared Keeso, who also stars as Wayne, created the series. Joining Keeso for fast-talking observations about life in Canada, the happenings of sexually charged neighbors, the preservation of national treasures of the avian variety, the pitfalls of organized religion, and the proper way to knock the teeth from your hockey rival are Nathan Dales, Michelle Mylett, K Trevor Wilson, Dylan Playfair, Andrew Herr, Tyler Johnston, Evan Stern, Mark Forward, and Tiio Horn.

Letterkenny launched in 2016 as the first original series for Crave, the Canadian streaming platform owned by Bell Media. Filmed roughly 5 1/2 hours from my house in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, Letterkenny is a beloved and endlessly quotable Canadian comedy akin to Trailer Park Boys and Schitt’s Creek.

Letterkenny spin-off, Shoresy, began its second season on Hulu on October 27. Created by and starring Jared Keeso, directed by Jacob Tierney, and produced by New Metric Media in association with Play Fun Games, the half-hour comedy sees the foul-mouthed, chirp-serving, mother-loving, fan-favorite character, Shoresy (Keeso), and the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs of the Northern Ontario Senior Hockey Organization (The NOSHO), continue their quest to never lose again.

Joining the stellar lineup this season are Frederick Roy (son of Hall of Fame goalie Patrick Roy), international pop star Rêve, Catherine St-Laurent (Tu Dors Nicole), and Jordana Lajoie (The Boys).

Have you seen Letterkenny yet? It’s one of my favorite comedies ever, and I’m happy it’s going out on its own terms. I highly recommend checking it out, even if you’re not from the Great White North.
