Deadline reports that Jamie Foxx has been tapped to star in Netflix's upcoming vampire-hunting flick DAYSHIFT. It will be directed by first-timer JJ Perry, who previously worked as a second unit director and stunt coordinator for the last FAST AND THE FURIOUS films and JOHN WICK, among others. It will also be produced by JOHN WICK's Chad Stahelski.
Here's the official synopsis:
Foxx will star as a hard-working blue-collar dad who just wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted 8-year old daughter, but his mundane San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of income, hunting and killing vampires.
