Bad Day First Look
Have you ever had a really bad day? John McClane knows a thing or two (or five) about having bad days. And soon, so will Cameron Diaz. Netflix has now given you the first look at Diaz’s new action comedy Bad Day with some first-look images from the film. Joining her in the movie is a cast that includes Danielle Brooks, Rhenzy Feliz, John Higgins, Mark Duplass, Jessica Belkin, Ed O’Neill, Rob Corddry, Ayden Mayeri, Ben Schwartz, Retta, Emma Pearson, P.J. Byrne, Sherry Cola, Edi Patterson and Beck Bennett.
The official synopsis from Netflix reads,
“An action-comedy about a single mom fighting to keep one little promise to her daughter on the absolute worst day of her life.”
Jury Duty helmer Jake Szymanski directs Bad Day from a script by Laura Solon. Diaz reunites with Szymanski after working with him on Back in Action, which also co-starred Jamie Foxx. Mark Moran and Laura Solon serve as executive producers for the film. Meanwhile, Beau Bauman, who produced Back in Action, will produce through his Good One Productions, along with co-producer Jeremy Mittleman.

Back in movies
Diaz had taken a hiatus from films that lasted around 10 or 11 years. She made a return to the acting world last year when she co-starred in Back in Action. The official synopsis for that film read, “Years after giving up life as CIA spies to start a family, Emily and Matt find themselves dragged back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown. Back in Action is directed by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses, Baywatch), from a script he co-wrote with Brendan O’Brien.” In addition to Foxx and Diaz, Back in Action also starred Glenn Close, Kyle Chandler, Andrew Scott, Jamie Demetriou, McKenna Roberts, and Rylan Jackson.
