Trailer: Tony Todd stars in Tales from the Hood 3, coming this October

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has announced an October 6th Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital release date for writers/directors Rusty Cundieff and Darin Scott's anthology film TALES FROM THE HOOD 3, and along with that announcement comes the arrival of the trailer embedded above. The DVD can be pre-ordered at THIS LINK.

Starring Tony Todd, Lynn Whitfield, Cooper Huckabee, and Savannah Basley, the film

features four terrifying tales that will scare and thrill audiences with its horrifying twists and social commentary.

The trailer shows off a lot of crazy imagery, but surprisingly there's no sign of Keith David in here. The first TALES FROM THE HOOD (watch it on Amazon) was hosted by a character named Mr. Simms, played by Clarence Williams III. David took over the role of Simms for TALES FROM THE HOOD 2 (which you can also watch on Amazon), but he doesn't appear to be in part 3.

TALES FROM THE HOOD 3 is Rated R for horror violence, disturbing images, sexual content, and language including racist epithets.
