Syfy is Camp Crystal Lake’s Public Access Channel today during F13 marathon

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Syfy is currently in the midst of a FRIDAY THE 13TH movie marathon, it started at midnight and will continue until midnight tonight. As I type this, FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VIII: JASON TAKES MANHATTAN has ended and now FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VII: THE NEW BLOOD is starting… yes, they're showing the movies in an insane order, like channels tend to do these days.

Here's the full line-up, going back eight hours:

1200a: Friday the 13th

The reopening of Camp Crystal Lake spells murder and mayhem for a group of sexually promiscuous counselors.

200a – Friday the 13th Part III

Killer Jason terrorizes teens (Dana Kimmell, Paul Kratka, Tracie Savage) and a biker gang.

400a – Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter

Hockey-masked Jason goes after another batch of teens (Kimberly Beck, Peter Barton, Corey Feldman) at Crystal Lake.

600a – Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan

Hockey-masked slasher Jason (Kane Hodder) follows a Crystal Lake teen (Jensen Daggett) and her friends on a cruise to New York.

800a – Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood

A psychic teen's (Lar Park Lincoln) psychiatrist (Terry Kiser) sends her and her mother (Susan Blu) to Crystal Lake, home of hockey-masked Jason.

1000a – Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives

Teenage Tommy (Thom Mathews) meets masked-killer Jason, brought back by a lightning bolt at the lake.

1200p – Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning

Teens (Melanie Kinnaman, Shavar Ross) flee and use a chain saw against someone wearing slasher Jason's hockey mask.

200p – Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter

Hockey-masked Jason goes after another batch of teens (Kimberly Beck, Peter Barton, Corey Feldman) at Crystal Lake.

400p – Friday the 13th Part III

Killer Jason terrorizes teens (Dana Kimmell, Paul Kratka, Tracie Savage) and a biker gang.

600p – Friday the 13th Part 2

Mrs. Voorhees' son Jason is waiting when another load of teens (Amy Steel, John Furey, Adrienne King) tries to make a buck at Camp Crystal.

800p – Friday the 13th

The reopening of Camp Crystal Lake spells murder and mayhem for a group of sexually promiscuous counselors.

1000p – Friday the 13th Part 2

Mrs. Voorhees' son Jason is waiting when another load of teens (Amy Steel, John Furey, Adrienne King) tries to make a buck at Camp Crystal.

But even though Syfy has chosen to show the movies all out of order, they have also done something special for this marathon. That special element will come into play at 6pm and continue for the last six hours.

From 6PM to midnight, the celebration kicks up a notch as SYFY transforms into the “Camp Crystal Lake’s Public Access Channel,” featuring quirky in-world commercials, camp counselor “recruitment videos,” PSAs, favorite movie moments and more. Custom wraps will feature SYFY WIRE’s Whitney Moore, Juan Cadavid and Matt Romano, who break down all things “Friday the 13th,” including their favorite moments from the franchise.

That sounds like it could be pretty fun, watching these clips show up during commercial breaks as you watch FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 2, then part 1, then part 2 again.
