A look at the world of the gods and the town of the humans in this Thor featurette

I’ve been wondering when we would see some of the majesty of Thor’s dimension of origin instead of just watching him get beat up here in the realm of mortals, but now we have a good look at the Thunder God’s celestial home town.

This new behind-the-scenes look at THOR shows off some new glimpses of Asgard and how it might fit into the Marvel movie universe, along with an Earth town built from scratch. It’s also the first real sense I’ve had that Kenneth Branagh actually directed this thing. (Although him appearing in the clip and discussing it is also a good indication.)

THOR opens May 6.
