A major DC character has been added to the cast of Suicide Squad

With basically a week to go before the premiere of David Ayer's SUICIDE SQUAD, there are still a few surprises to be had surrounding the mysteries of the film. Consider the following to be a bit of a spoiler, after all, wouldn't you rather keep it a surprise with just one more week to go? For those of you with no self-control (raises hand) let's get right to it.

The cast of SUICIDE SQUAD is already fairly large but according to a recent report by THR, and later confirmed by Warner Bros.' own press-release, there's been a late addition to the cast, and it's a fairly major one. It turns out that The Flash (Ezra Miller) will be making an appearance in the film, and this won't be an end-credit sequence either as the speedster will actually be popping up at an early point in the movie itself. Audiences seem to be digging Ezra's character, despite how little we've seen from him, so Warner Bros. must be eager to spread The Flash around a little bit. It's not clear exactly when Ezra Miller was added to SUICIDE SQUAD, either during the reshoots back in April or perhaps even sometime more recent.

SUICIDE SQUAD will finally hit theaters on August 5, 2016.
