A24 has been distributing some killer films lately, like EX MACHINA, ROOM, THE WITCH, THE LOBSTER and 20TH CENTURY WOMEN, and it looks like they're dipping back into the horror pool with their latest, IT COMES AT NIGHT. The plot is under wraps for now, but we do have the first trailer which paints a pretty gruesome picture. Check it out!
I haven't had the chance to see Trey Edward Shults' previous film, KRISHA, but that film looked very well shot for what it was. It looks as thought he's bringing his "lingering camera" style over to IT COMES AT NIGHT, which should be a nice change of pace for the bulk of the horror genre. From this trailer, it looks like people are getting infected with something, but I'm interested to see how it'll play out!
IT COMES AT NIGHT will open in theaters on August 25, 2017.
