Agent Coulson of The Avengers finally gets his due in a new character poster

Somehow, even after all that we’ve seen, there are still semi-untapped ways Marvel’s Mighty Marketing team can use to try and sell THE AVENGERS. Case in point being today’s character poster combo of Clark Gregg’s Agent Coulson and Samuel Jackson’s Nick Fury to go along with the last batch of super powered character posters.  The best part of all is that this poster really isn’t even as out of place as it may seem since Agent Coulson actually has his own super powers.

The super powers of charm and efficiency, that is.

Did it work? Are you sufficiently charmed that you’ll go out to catch THE AVENGERS on May 4th? I sure hope so… the movie hasn’t been tracking all that well, and it would be really great if it succeeded well enough that we were able to get a few more superhero movies from Marvel…
