Alan Tudyk, Danny Pudi & Christina Kirk join DC Comics sitcom Powerless

Powerless Alan Tudyk Danny Pudi Christina Kirk Banner

A couple of days ago we learned that Vanessa Hudgens has signed on to star in the pilot for NBC's Powerless, and now TV Line is reporting that Firefly's Alan Tudyk, Community's Danny Pudi and Christina Kirk (Manhattan, A to Z) have joined the DC Comics workplace sitcom.

Powerless will center on "the exceedingly average employees at one of the worst insurance companies in America, with the twist being that it also takes place in the universe of DC Comics," and according to the site, Tudyk has been cast as Del, Emily's (Hudgens) new boss in the claims department, who has just been promoted because he's the owner's son. Apparently he is "a power-mad disastrous dictator of a boss," and "a self-proclaimed 'rich, over-educated globetrotting wastrel.'"

Pudi has been cast as Teddy, Emily's best friend and co-worker, who "spends his days creating time-wasting pranks as a way to make their office, the 'least Super place on earth,' just a little less 'unsuper,'" while Kirk will play Jackie, "a massive superhero fan who work as Del's assistant." What are your thoughts on the latest cast additions to Powerless?
