Patrick Lussier, the man behind last year’s very successful MY BLOODY VALENTINE, will next be bringing us DRIVE ANGRY, about a vengeful father (played by Nicholas Cage) chasing after the men who killed his daughter.
Now, according to the guys at Bloody Disgusting, joining the ranks of what’s sure to be the film’s gory exploits are awesome “That Guy” William Fichtner (THE DARK KNIGHT) and boner-inducing hottie Amber Heard (THE STEPFATHER).
The story, from Lussier and writer Todd Farmer, “centers on a man (Cage) driven by rage who is chasing the people who killed his daughter and kidnapped her baby. The vendetta/rescue spins out of control as the chase gets bloodier by the mile, leaving bodies strewn along the highway.” Hooray, exploitation!
