American Horror Story: Ryan Murphy’s future story poll down to 2 options

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Last week, we reported that American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy had made a post on his Instagram account asking his followers which of six potential future stories they would like to see: Aliens, Xmas Horror, Bloody Mary, Sirens, Piggy Man, or Plague. Based on the comments that post received, the choices were cut down to four: Aliens, Bloody Mary, Sirens, or Plague. Now those choices have been whittled down to two, and Murphy is asking followers to vote for their favorite, Bloody Mary or Plague.

I wouldn't have picked either of those two as finalists, but I've never watched American Horror Story so my opinion on this doesn't mean much.

Currently in production, the tenth season of American Horror Story is titled American Horror Story: Double Feature, because it's going to be telling

two horrifying stories, one by the sea… the other by the sand.

The cast of the season includes Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson, Macaulay Culkin, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Angelica Ross, Finn Wittrock, and Kaia Gerber.

Murphy has said that Culkin will be playing an "insane part" that involves having "crazy, erotic sex with Kathy Bates". Paulson teased that her character "has some issues" and sports a hair color that has never been on Paulson's head before.

American Horror Story: Double Feature will begin airing on FX later in 2021. A spin-off anthology series called American Horror Stories, which will consist of "one-hour contained episodes", is also in the works.
